
Frank Beermann

Frank Beermann has distinguished himself internationally both on the concert platform and throught his many CD recordings. His insatiable curiosity for new, undiscovered repertoire and interest in re-interpretation of core repertoire have won him numerous awards and prizes.
A core component of the conductor’s repertoire are the operas of Richard Wagner. In 2015-2019, Frank Beermann conducted the acclaimed “Ring” cycle in Minden with 36 performances of the four operas by Richard Wagner.
Writing in the magazine Crescendo’s special 2015 Echo Klassik Awards edition, Eleonore Büning said: ”Frank Beermann is one of the best Wagner conductors of our time”.
From 2007 to 2016, Frank Beermann was a music director of the Theater Chemnitz and principal conductor of the Robert-Schumann-Philharmonie. Among his upcoming projects are “Elektra” at the Théátre du Capitole Toulouse, “Figaro” at the Opera de Lausanne and various all- Beethoven concert programs.
RCCR Artists represents Frank Beerman in Russian-speaking territories and in the Baltics.
